History of Custom Built Pizza

Longtime Las Vegas resident and restaurateur, Larry DuLittle, and Las Vegas native, Bernita DuLittle, formed Custom Built Pizza Co. in February of 2012 with the intent to create something bold and exciting for Las Vegas. Custom Built Pizza Co. originated from the idea of serving high-quality, Neapolitan pizza in an entirely new and unique way that gives the customer complete control of creating his or her own perfect pizza. Excellent pizza, created by the customer, baked in classic wood fired ovens in minutes. Cool eh?

From that inspiration, Custom Built Pizza was born. Now, after eight months of concept development, site selection and negotiations - with many revisions, setbacks and hard work, Custom Built Pizza Co. became a reality, opening our first restaurant in May 2012.

Larry has over 30 years of experience in the restaurant business. Larry is an operator, developer and multi-unit manager at national franchise brands like Red Robin, Applebee’s and La Salsa, all here in Las Vegas. The DuLittle’s business partner is industry veteran and Internet entrepreneur, Michael Atkinson. Michael and Larry have been restaurant partners over their 30-year friendship and are looking forward to creating and growing Custom Built Pizza as the next Chipotle-like success story - one guest and one perfect pizza at a time. Custom Built Pizza plans to open several locations Las Vegas market.
